Judgment is a New Testament reality. It is not something restricted to the Old Testament. God’s judgment is His condemnation of wrong doing. Yes, He is a merciful and loving God, but that does not mean He does not judge.
In fact, judgment upon a person, nation, or group gives those who witness it a chance to repent and turn back to the Lord so that they will not die and go to Hell. God loves everyone, but He will not allow His church to be destroyed. He has His plans and those who continually stand against them will find themselves being judged by the Lord.
