The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would show them a sign from heaven. He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? (Matt. 16:1-3)
In the above verses, the Pharisees and Sadducess represented the leaders of the church and the people of their day. They were supposed to know all things about God and His work and purpose on the earth. Jesus Christ rebuked them because while they could look at the sky and tell if the sun was indicating that the next day would either be sunny or that it would rain, they could not interpret what God was saying and doing in their day. Jesus was telling them it is more important to understand what the Lord God is doing than it is to be a scholar or genius in natural world affairs.
You don’t have to be very spiritual to understand that demonic activity has increased greatly in this nation since 2008. The Lord is bringing a spiritual restoration to the earth that will bring things to a head in the spiritual realm. It is important that you know, understand, and discern the signs of time and this series will help you do just that.
