Contending Faith Bible Conference: Stir Up The Gift took place October 25-27, 2022 in Branson, Missouri. As believers gathered together in the Ozark Mountains, the Holy Spirit spoke and imparted an anointing to carry out His plans.
Rev. Grier shared the importance that the Lord shared with him about walking in love. Many believers desire the gifts of the spirit to manifest in their life, but first we must follow after love (1 Corinthians 14:1). When the gifts start to operate on a consistent basis, attacks are going to come from others and you have to be prepared to walk in love.
We also heard about the importance of doing our part in the plan of God – stirring up the gift by praying in tongues, meditating, and confessing the Word. If we don’t stir up the gift that has been imparted to us, no one is going to do it – including God Himself. We’re told to do it.
Rev. Grier shared about the need for power from Heaven to assist us in the work God has called us to. We went through scripture to see all the times that the Lord sent power from Heaven to assist those who were doing the work of the ministry.
We also were reminded of two important foundations of the victorious christian life: the importance of speaking what you believe and taking authority over evil spirits. These meetings were a blessing to those in attendance and will be a blessing to you.
