Contending Faith Bible Conference: Submitted To God took place on January 23, 24, 25, 2024 in Pensacola Beach, FL. During the meeting, the Lord reminded us of the importance of submitting to God in every area of our lives so that we can do what God has called us to do and be who God has called us to be. On Tuesday night, Rev. Grier spoke about submitting to God first in our prayer life, then in our study and meditation of the Word. This isn’t something we do because we have some kind of feeling. It’s what we do because God says to do it. On Wednesday morning, Rev. Grier spoke about something that the Lord told Him about years ago: “I am not withholding My miracles, signs, wonders or Glory from the church. I’ve given it, but My people are not in a position to receive it. Stop praying for Me to send My Glory. Ask what you need to do to receive it.”
The Lord is not withholding anything from us; we just need to be in a position to receive it. That is the problem today. The church, as a whole, is not in a position to receive the glory. On Wednesday night, the Lord told us how to cast out devils, according to the Word of God. There are three simple things that every believer must know to do so. Thursday morning, we were reminded of the importance of faith and confession to see what we desire come to pass. You will never arrive at a destination that you do not declare beforehand. Thursday night, Rev. Grier spoke about who God is to you. God is only God if you allow Him to be. He’s only God in your area if you allow Him to be. When we make God our God, there are certain things we do and certain things we can’t do. These meetings highlighted some of the areas of change that the church needs to make to prepare ourselves to receive God’s glory. It will be a blessing to you to understand what you need to do and how we need to pray.
