Word & Spirit: A New Era took place January 19, 20, 21, 2021 in Pensacola Beach, FL. Believers from around the country came to meet with the Lord and hear the Word from Heaven. On Tuesday night, Rev. Randall Grier shared about the need for the church to walk in love and compassion. 1 John 4:8 says “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” Loving someone doesn’t mean you agree with someone. It’s an attitude you have towards someone.
The Pharisees In Matthew 6 looked at natural events, trying to see what was happening spiritually, You can’t look at natural events to see what God is doing. God is a spirit and He communicates with His people through the spirit, not natural events. Many people have wanted the Lord to work in a specific way so much, when He started to telling them something different, they turned a deaf ear to Him. But repeatedly, the Lord told the churches in Revelation – “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says.”
The Lord showed us that some things can’t be changed in a day or a week. The Lord showed Dad Hagin that the healing revival that took place at the close of World War 2 was a result of prayers that he and others had prayed years earlier. It was the result of prayers of yesteryear. The prayers that the church prayed were not wasted. The Lord has told us that we can change the course of a nation through our prayers – through intercession. It’s not dependent on who is in the office, but if intercession is made for the person in the office. The Lord showed this same thing to Dad Hagin years ago. It’s the responsibility of the church to pray for those in authority.
This meeting was a blessing to all those in attendance. It will be a blessing to you as well.
